It’s Friday. That means it’s time for a lazy guitar lesson.

Today, you get another video… It’s The Band – Classic Albums
Ok….
I realize this isn’t necessarily a guitar lesson (or even very specific to the guitar). But I don’t care because it’s so awesome. I wanted to share for two reasons: 1) Because I love The Band and they’re awesome and 2) You need to start watching Classic Albums.
If you don’t know about Classic Albums, you need to check it out. It’s basically a “making of” documentary that focuses on some of the best music ever made. The episodes interview living members of the bands (and include old footage as well) – and basically dissect each song on the record. It’s a crazy and awesome level of detail that you just don’t see anywhere else. There are great insights into the recording process, from the bootleg style of The Band, to the extreme specificity of Queen. Check it out.
